For well over 140 years the company has operated ferries between Southampton, the gateway to the Isle of Wight and Cowes, the undisputed home of world yachting. Red Funnel now operates the largest vehicle ferries ever to serve the Island and has the newest fleet. The 24 hr passenger/vehicle ferry service operates between Southampton and East Cowes, taking 55 minutes whilst the Red Jet passenger only Hi-Speed service takes just 22 minutes between Southampton and West Cowes.

For rail passengers, a FREE CityLink shuttle bus service connects Red Jet arrivals & departures at Terminal 2 Town Quay with South West Train services to & from London Waterloo. On arrival at West Cowes, Southern Vectis operate a connecting service to & from Newport and across the Island.
