The Isle of Wight has its very own unique electric train service which runs between Ryde Pier Head and Shanklin.

By travelling Island Line you can visit many places of interest:
* Smallbrook Junction
Alight here for the Islands Steam Railway.
* Brading
The Islands Waxworks Museum.
* Sandown
Dinosaur Isle or wander the long sandy beaches.
* Shanklin
Visit Shanklin Chine, an historic scenic gorge.

From East Cowes ferry, second exit at roundabout onto Well Road, A3021, A3054 to Ryde.
From Fishbourne ferry, B3339 (Fishbourne lane), A3054 to Ryde.
From Yarmouth ferry, A3054 to Newport, A3054 to Ryde.

Public Transport Directions

From West Cowes Red Jet Hi-speed ferry: No. 1 bus route to Newport and change to No. 9 to Ryde.
From Yarmouth ferry: No. 7 bus route to Newport and change to No. 9 to Ryde.
