Terms and Conditions

PRIZE DRAW FOR EXHIBITIONS COMPETITION 08/09

Please note the following terms and conditions relate to the prize draw to win a trip to the Isle of Wight including accommodation, ferry crossings and entrance to a selection of attractions.

1. Entrants must be 18 years old or over

2. Excludes employees of Isle of Wight Tourism, and the selected third parties

3. Only fully completed registrations will be eligible.

4. Only one entry per household.

5. The closing date for receipt of entries is 1 May 2009

6. The winner will be selected in a random draw by 1 June 2009

7. The judge's decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

8. The winner will be notified by 30 June 2009. If the winner is not contactable, Isle of Wight Tourism reserve the right to reallocate the prize awarded to the next randomly drawn valid entry or to forfeit the prize.

9. The winner's details can be obtained by sending an SAE to the Press & PR department at Isle of Wight Tourism, Isle of WIght Council, County Hall, Newport, PO30 1UD.

10. Entries are to be submitted by completing the postcards available at exhibitions that Isle of Wight Tourism and third parties attend.

11. The prize comprises: A return ferry crossing from Lymington, Portsmouth or Southampton valid for a standard car, and up to 4 passengers (adults or children - return journey to be taken within 5 days), accommodation at either Warner Leisure Hotels (Bembridge Coast or Norton Grange Yarmouth - 3 nights B&B/evening meal for 2 adults sharing a twin room), or Gurnard Pines, Cowes (3 nights self-catering for up to 2 adults and 2 children), plus attraction visits for up to four people to Blackgang Chine, Dinosaur Isle, Isle of Wight Steam Railway, Robin Hill, The Needles Park and Osborne House.

12. The prize excludes: (a) any form of insurance. (b) any meals apart from those specified at Warners (c) any accommodation extras (e.g. telephone, mini-bar, room service, etc) (d) travel to and from the destination (e) any personal expenses and spending money.

13. The prize is subject to availability and to the following conditions: (a) The prize must be taken before 30 October 2009, (b) Excludes Bank & School holidays and subject to availability (c) There is no cash alternative to the prize and the prize is non-transferable.

14. By ticking the relevant opt out box; only then do entrants agree not to receive offers and further information from the relevant party by post and/or email.

15. In the event of unforeseen circumstances Isle of Wight Tourism reserves the right to offer alternative prizes of equal or greater value.

16. No responsibility will be accepted by Isle of Wight Tourism for loss of entries through technical fault, transmission delays or incomplete, illegible or other damaged entries. Proof of entry is not automatically proof of receipt.
