With its superb position on sweeping Sandown Bay, the sparkling resort of Sandown offers all the fun and excitement for everyone.

Sandown has a magnificent sandy beach which slopes gently into the sea and is ideal for paddling and swimming. There are all kinds of seafront amusements, including all the attractions on the pier.

Broad seafront promenades are within easy reach of the town centre, which is packed with interesting small shops, pubs, restaurants and a leisure centre with indoor swimming pool. In the summer a road train operates between the town, Esplanade, Culver Parade and Yaverland, where a footpath leads to Culver Down, with its panoramic views of the Bay.

The two mile coastal walk between Sandown and Shanklin is a popular attraction, choose from the undulating coastal path or the sea wall promenade. Along the way is the village of Lake, with its quiet sandy beach and watersports centre.
