An established and registered school with an enviable safety record and some of the best training, weather and sites anywhere. They have a comprehensively equipped school, friendly instructors, an on site clubhouse and a fully stocked shop. They teach all levels, from complete beginner upwards.
Begin the adventure with a tandem flight from Atherfield Bay Holiday Centre, halfway along the coast road. It may change your life completely...
Tandem flights:
Soar the cliffs one on one with an instructor. Usually around twenty minutes airborne.
Same day bookings and gift vouchers, free upgrades.
Allow enough time for a full afternoon on site.
An unforgettable 'learning to fly' experience.
Intro days:
Getting to know what paragliding is all about...
Guaranteed to get you off the ground.
May include a tandem flight as well!
Student pilot course:
Solo flying, simple flight plans and basic theory.
Supervised flying with the school.
Most people take four days to complete this.
Club pilot course:
Soaring, staying up, landing back on top.
Real flying and learning takes off here...
Weather:
We are completely dependent on weather conditions for safe flying. Wind strength between 5-10 mph is usually good for flying. Check the forecast with us the day before you are due to fly. No refunds! Non-flyable days are carried forward to the next available day.
Preparations:
Wear ankle support boots and warm layers of clothing. Take food and drink to the hill with you!
Health:
A reasonable level of fitness is needed. We run, walk, carry up and sometimes tumble. If you have any issues which could affect your fitness to fly please check with your doctor and us.
Booking:
Telephone +44 01983 731611 and a non-returnable deposit of £50 will secure your booking.
