We have been teaching paragliding since 1981 and have become one of the most successful schools in the UK. We introduced static winch towing to the sport in the early eighties and were the first hang gliding school to teach paragliding. Many of the teaching techniques adopted by other schools today, were developed by us.

The Isle of Wight is uniquely situated 4 miles from the South Coast but within easy reach of London (11/2 - 2 hours) and the home counties. The narrow strip of water that surrounds the Island acts as a buffer against the fast running tide of mainland hustle and bustle; the pace of life is slower but the flying activity is intense!

Being in the "deep South", the Isle of Wight often escapes the worst effects of low pressure systems so providing a large number of flyable days. Our location ensures constant summer sea-breezes which provide smooth flying conditions that are essential for rapid and easy learning of basic paragliding skills. Couple this with access to over a dozen flying sites which cater for all wind directions and the advantages of this lovely island become clear.

We run paragliding courses from Easter- October. Prices start for a day taster from £95.00 and tandem flights from £69.00.
