LATEST ACTS ANNOUNCED FOR BESTIVAL AND IW FESTIVAL

Isle of Wight Festival

N-Dubz and Florence and the Machine have been added to the line-up for this year's Isle of Wight Festival.  La Roux, The Hold Steady and Biffy Clyro will also play the event which takes place at Seaclose Park, Newport, between 11-13 June.

English rockers Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel top the list of new additions for the Big Top stage. In addition, Jimi Hendrix tribute act Are You Experienced will open the event to mark the fortieth anniversary of one of the virtuoso’s final performance which took place at the Isle of Wight Festival in 1970.  

As previously reported Jay-Z, The Strokes, Vampire Weekend and Friendly Fires have already been confirmed for the festival (www.isleofwightfestival.com).  

Tickets for the Isle of Wight Festival are priced at £150 for a weekend adult camping pass, while a child (7-12) camping ticket costs £75.

Bestival  

Dizzee Rascal, The Flaming Lips, LCD Soundsystem are to play Bestival 2010 - Echo & The Bunnymen, Gil Scott Heron and Hot Chip are also on the bill with more acts due to be announced soon.

Adult weekend camping tickets (aged 16 or over) for Bestival are priced at £150, child camping ticket (13 to 15) cost £75.

Getting around
   

During the festivals, Island’s bus company Southern Vectis will be running special shuttle services and extra late buses on their normal routes to make it as easy as possible for you to get to the festival sites. A taxi service is available from Ryde pier head and the Red Jet terminal at Cowes.
