JOOLS HOLLAND TO RETURN TO THE ISLE OF WIGHT

Jools Holland and his full Rhythm and Blues Orchestra, featuring Gilson Lavis, are to make a long-awaited return to the Island on Friday 23 April 2010.
The current 20-piece Jools Holland and His Rhythm & Blues Orchestra consists of pianist, organist, drummer, three female vocals, guitar, bass guitar, two tenor saxophones, two alto saxophones, baritone saxophone, three trumpets, and four trombones.They continue to dazzle audiences in excess of 500,000 each year, and in 2009 toured all over the world, including Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, France, Holland, and Belgium.
Jools is fresh from hosting his 17th Hootenanny for BBC TV with an impressive array of guests to help see in 2010 and continues to front Later …. With Jools Holland on Friday nights, now in its 35th series, with an additional live slot on Tuesday nights.
Tickets for the concert are available now and are sold on a standing only basis. There are 800 unreserved seats and 1600 standing – seating is allocated at the time of arrival on the night of the show on a first come, first served basis.
