FAMOUS ISLAND ATTRACTIONS TO OPEN FOR FREE

You won't have to pay a penny to see some of the Isle of Wight's most famous museums, buildings and exhibitions on certain days next month.

As part of National Heritage Open Days between 10 - 13 September, several well known attractions will be open, free of charge.

These include the Roman Villas in Brading - which will open on Friday 11 September(0930 - 1700) - and Newport, which will be free to enter on Saturday 12 September(1000 - 1600)

Isle of Wight Council's Museum of Island History in Newport's Guildhall, which is currently exhibiting the Island's Saxon past, will be open on Saturday 12 September between 1000 - 1700.

The Isle of Wight Steam Railway, Bembridge Windmill, Shanklin Chine and the Needles Old Battery are just some of the other attractions that will be taking part in the event.
