See Girls Aloud and Paul Weller at the Osborne House summer concert

Tickets to see top British girl band, Girls Aloud, and former frontman of The Jam and The Style Council, Paul Weller, at the Osborne House summer concert, 26/27 July, are about to go on sale.

The announcement is a return to the format of 2005 and 2006 when Osborne hosted picnic-style concerts with Westlife and Ronan Keating on the lawn outside the main house.

Paul Weller will take to the stage on the Saturday. Best known for hits including You Do Something To Me, Going Underground, Eton Rifles and Wild Wood, Paul Weller is no stranger to the Island and also headlined the IW Festival in 2003.

Girls Aloud will close the weekend as headliners on the Sunday night with special guests.The girls shot to fame in 2002 after they won talent show Popstars: The Rivals. They have gone on to become one of the most successful girl groups of the decade with a record-breaking number of consecutive top-ten singles, including Biology, Jump, Love Machine and their most recent single, Can't Speak French.
