Eighties Pop Added to Bestival

More great acts have been added to the illustrious list of performers at this year's Bestival, including eighties pop band The Human League who will perform an entire show of material from their classic album Dare, plus Gary Numan adds to the retro flavour and up-and-coming talent includes Foals and Brazilians CSS.

Having sold out every date on their tour within an hour, indie band My Bloody Valentine will headline the Friday night, their only UK festival date this year. Funk's first man George Clinton, the creative genius behind Parliament and Funkadelic, will be on stage with his band, while Aphex Twin, one of Britain's most influential and original dance acts, has also been confirmed.

Dans Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip return after last year's debut and reggae royalty Lee Scratch Perry, who was there when Bestival began in 2004, is also back.

DJs include Bestival favourite Yoda, Layo and Bushwacka, Annie Mac, Slam and former Dexy's Midnight Runner Kevin Rowland, who provided some of last year's highlights.
