This award-winning, 3-day boutique music festival takes place in the beautiful leafy surroundings of Robin Hill on the Isle of Wight. Bestival was voted the 'Best Medium-to-Large Festival' for the 2005 and 2006 UK Festival Awards whilst also setting the world record for the Biggest Fancy Dress Parade (10,000 people dressed as Cowboys & Indians!). Curated by Radio One DJ Rob da Bank, Bestival features around 9 stages of live music, cabaret and some of the world's top DJs.
This year's event will be rocked by the Beastie Boys, The Chemical Brothers, Primal Scream and many more fantastic live acts. The DJ line-up includes François K, Gilles Peterson, Tim Westwood and Rob da Bank. The eclectic mix of madness includes a Bollywood cocktail bar, Laughter Clubs, a Farmers Market, a Kids area, Morris Dancing and once again, the world's biggest fancy dress parade whose theme this year is Pirates, Wenches, Wizards, Kings and Queens.
