There are now another five acts on the bill for next year's Isle of Wight Festival. Leading the latest list of artists is former Stone Roses frontman Ian Brown.
Returning for a second appearance will be a band whose singer has family on the Island. The Kooks will be back at Seaclose Park next year after a first performance in 2006.
Other groups now have the opportunity to make their Isle of Wight Festival debut: The Hoosiers and Scouting For Girls
The fifth extra act confirmed is a trio of musicians, two of whom have produced big hits for Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake. It's N.E.R.D
All those artists will be performing live at Seaclose Park during the second weekend of June next year.
Other acts to take to the stage at Seaclose over the weekend of June 13 to 15 are lippy Londoner Lily Allen, Kate Nash and Scottish singer/songwriter KT Tunstall were among seven new acts to be announced. Three-piece rock band The Enemy, Mancunian rock band James, Liverpuddlians The Zutons and legendary American act Iggy and The Stooges.
Iggy Pop, who performed at the 2003 event, said: "We are proud to follow in the footsteps of The Doors and Hendrix -- God bless the Isle of Wight."
The seven acts will form a strong backdrop for headliners Kaiser Chiefs, Sex Pistols and The Police who will top the bill on Friday, Saturday and Sunday respectively.
