A warm welcome awaits you to our traditional, family operated comfortable English pub and Stables restaurant with its cosy open fire and Island stone walls.

The House boasts the oldest License on The Isle of Wight and our cellar plays host to local and mainland cask conditioned ales, which puts the pub high on the list for real ale lovers.

A veritable ‘Tardis’, the Victorian interior is spacious and continues through to the Stables Restaurant which seats 30+.

Since May this year (2005) we have enjoyed, as NEW TENANTS, providing and serving the best in value and quality of home-cooked, locally sourced, fresh foods using Island produce wherever possible. Fresh fish and many Island recipes feature on our menus which change daily to reflect the availability of fresh seasonal ingredients.
