Local Produce

Our mellow climate ensures that the Isle of Wight is home to a huge variety of local produce; the freshest seafood straight from the fisherman’s catch, locally brewed beer, wine and cider, organic fruit and vegetables and delicious locally made ice creams and deserts.

Scores on the Doors

The Isle of Wight Council’s ‘Scores on the Doors’ scheme publishes information about Food Hygiene and Safety and provides a 0 – 5 star rating for each of the Island’s 1900 registered food businesses. These scores are available to view at www.iwight.com/scoresonthedoors.
