Nick & Stella offer you a warm welcome to The Lawns, a fully licensed family run establishment, which is completely NON-SMOKING, in the popular resort of Sandown, Isle of Wight. The Lawns is of a high standard and offers great value for money.

The Lawns was built in 1865 and has ample parking for over 15 cars, and with only a stroll to the beach you can leave your car in the safe knowledge that our premises are protected with CCTV.

The establishment has a mixture of Family, Double, Triple, Single, Four Poster & Twin Ensuite rooms. The bedrooms are furnished with colour televisions, hospitality trays and heating for all year round accommodation. There are also ground floor ensuite bedrooms available.

Also available are cots, highchairs, sterilisers, baby monitors, disposable bibs and bottle warmers.

Children can play safely watching the fish in the ponds, while Mum and Dad laze in the charming south west facing gardens which enjoy the sun for many hours of the day.

We will do all we can to make your visit comfortable and enjoyable.

Road Directions

From East Cowes ferry, second exit at roundabout onto Well Road, A3021, A3054 to Newport, A3020 to Sandown, A3056 to Lake, A3055 to Sandown.
From Fishbourne ferry, B3339 (Fishbourne lane), A3054 to Ryde (Esplanade), straight along the Esplanade to the boating lake, follow the road round to the right onto A3055 to Sandown.
From Yarmouth ferry, A3054 to Newport, A3020 to Sandown, A3056 to Lake, A3055 to Sandown.

Public Transport Directions

From Ryde: please either visit the train station annexed to the Catamaran or travel on the No. 3 bus route
From West Cowes Red Jet Hi-speed ferry: No. 1 bus route to Newport and change to No. 8
From Yarmouth ferry: No. 7 Newport and change to No. 8.
For further information please visit the Southern Vectis travel office at Ryde, bottom of pier or the Tourist Information Centre at West Cowes, opposite ferry terminal entrance and at Yarmouth, left of terminal.
