Nestled in the heart of Shanklin's Old Village, and only a couple of minutes from its long, sandy beach, The Grange is the perfect retreat from the hectic pace of modern living. Its setting is beautiful and natural, its atmosphere friendly and relaxed.

The hotel - a beautiful late Georgian building - has retained much of its original features including an ornate, carved fireplace. These are complemented by a collection of paintings and sculptures ranging in style from bold and striking to classically elegant.

Each of the 17 twin/double en-suite bedrooms have been refurbished to a high standard in soothing, natural tones whilst power showers and luxury toiletries ensure a good start to each day. An elegant, high-ceiling breakfast room adjoins the hotel's rustic bar set at the edge of a magnificent garden.

The Grange is an offshoot of Skyros (www.skyros.com), the leading holistic holiday in Greece and Thailand which has been now running for 30 years. The Grange offers all-inclusive short breaks including courses ranging from yoga, massage and dance to writing, film-making and comedy.

The Grange also offers accommodation on a bed & breakfast basis. Sauna and massage/facial treatments are also available on request.

Tea and coffee are available throughout the day free of charge.
