This lovely Grade II manor house , a country house with "style", sits amidst four acres of the beautiful Rylstone Gardens and commands views over the famous Shanklin Chine and the sea beyond. It is a haven of tranquillity close to the old thatched village .

Its nine themed en-suite bedrooms have all you desire to make a stay most memorable, and coupled with the fine cuisine, makes Rylstone Manor unique.

You may take tea at four, drinks at seven followed by a candlelit dinner, all supervised by resident owners, Mike and Carole Hailston.

The Manor is a non-smoking establishment.

Road Directions

From East Cowes ferry, second exit at roundabout onto Well Road, A3021, A3054 to Newport, A3020 to Sandown, A3020 to Shanklin.
From Fishbourne ferry, B3339 (Fishbourne lane), A3054 to Ryde (Esplanade), straight along the Esplanade to the boating lake, follow the road round to the right onto A3055 to Sandown, A3055 to Shanklin.
From Yarmouth ferry, A3054 to Newport, A3020 to Sandown, A3020 to Shanklin.

Public Transport Directions

From Ryde Catamaran/Hovertravel: please either visit the train station annexed to the Catamaran or travel on the No. 3 bus route
From West Cowes Red Jet Hi-speed ferry: No. 1 bus route to Newport and change to No. 2.
From Yarmouth ferry: No. 7 to Newport and change to No. 2.
For further information please visit the Southern Vectis travel office at Ryde, bottom of pier or the Tourist Information Centre at West Cowes, opposite ferry terminal entrance and at Yarmouth, left of terminal.
