The Palmerston is located in an ideal position in Shanklin, just a few minutes walk from the town centre, the Old Village, the beach and the Esplanade.

A family owned and run establishment, we offer a friendly and attentive service. We have gained an excellent reputation for good quality food, with hearty breakfasts to get you going - and late suppers at flexible hours to accommodate your nutritional needs. At the end of the day enjoy a relaxing drink in "Trophy's Bar" or play pool in the games room.

The establishment has a mix of bedrooms on the 1st floor, including single - double - twin - family, all with en-suite bathrooms or showers, tea and coffee making facilities. We can therefore cater for the majority of requests. Beautiful gardens with ample car and coach parking facilities.

From East Cowes ferry, second exit at roundabout onto Well Road, A3021, A3054 to Newport, A3020 to Sandown, A3020 to Shanklin.
From Fishbourne ferry, B3339 (Fishbourne lane), A3054 to Ryde (Esplanade), straight along the Esplanade to the boating lake, follow the road round to the right onto A3055 to Sandown, A3055 to Shanklin.
From Yarmouth ferry, A3054 to Newport, A3020 to Sandown, A3020 to Shanklin.

From Ryde Catamaran/Hovertravel: please either visit the train station annexed to the Catamaran or travel on the No. 3 bus route
From West Cowes Red Jet Hi-speed ferry: No. 1 bus route to Newport and change to No. 2.
From Yarmouth ferry: No. 7 to Newport and change to No. 2.
For further information please visit the Southern Vectis travel office at Ryde, bottom of pier or the Tourist Information Centre at West Cowes, opposite ferry terminal entrance and at Yarmouth, left of terminal.
