KEMPHILL BARN:

Built in 1769 as a stable with a hay loft above, Kemphill Barn has been lovingly converted into a beautiful holiday home. It overlooks the original farm pond and commands wonderful views across the 250 acre working farm. The old hay loft door and magnificent beams have been retained to preserve its unique character.

Being one large self contained unit it comfortably sleeps 10 in its 4 fully en-suite bedrooms. There is full central heating and ample car parking. The large farmhouse style kitchen adjoins its own private patio and the spacious, well equipped lounge is on the 1st floor.

KEMPHILL DAIRY:

Kemphill Dairy is a lovely Edwardian building constructed from local brick and clay tiles. Although very modern when first created in 1911, milking finally ceased in 1999. All later extensions have been removed, and in 2002 the interior was carefully transformed into the luxurious, 5 bedroom, all en-suite, accommodation that sleeps 12.

Externally, with the exception of replacement windows, little has changed. Indeed, the two doors at the eastern end, with their huge step, are a reminder of where the cows left the building after being milked.

The large door, where the cows entered, has been replaced by a floor to gable, double glazed window. This gives stunning views to the west, and also gives access to the patio. Here guests can enjoy a barbeque, and relax with a drink as the sun sets over the unspoilt countryside.

KEMPHILL GRANARY:

Stunning holiday conversion on 200 acre beef farm. Original 18th Century barn where grain was threshed by hand.

The large opposing doors, which created a wind tunnel to blow away chaff, are now panoramic windows on either side of the open-plan sitting room.

The kitchen area was used to store grain and still retains all it's magnificent oak beams. Likewise the 5 en suite bedrooms, sleeping 10 people, fit snugly into the original structure.

A breathtaking overhead gantry gives to a unique viewing platform with a stunning vista of the farm.

Entrance through the glass doors leads into a very large open plan space, which incorporates dinning room, sitting room and fully equipped kitchen. French doors lead to large patio area with bbq and child friendly walled garden.

All three barns offer FREE wi-fi connection.
