Craiglea is a peaceful, self-catering holiday cottage on the Isle of Wight sleeping up to six adults. Centrally located in Totland Bay, our holiday accommodation is just 5 minutes’ walk from the sea. The unspoiled beach faces west and you may catch some spectacular sunsets. We're on the doorstep to The Needles Battery & Park, Tennyson Down, Headon Warren, Freshwater Bay and Yarmouth. Goodleaf Tree Climbing, the Owl & Monkey Haven, Osborne House and Robin Hill Country park are all less than 20 miles away.

You'll find three stylishly-decorated bedrooms with very comfy mattresses for a great night's sleep, a living room with a big leather sofa and leather chairs, and a kitchen and dining area that can cater for groups of adults. It's a good recipe for a relaxing break away from the stresses of daily life.

The self-catering holiday cottage features three cosy, stylishly-decorated bedrooms, a living room and a fully-equipped kitchen and adjoining dining room seating six adults.

BEDROOMS: We think you’ll love the Master Bedroom! Located on the ground floor of the cottage, the bedroom has a very comfy John Lewis king-size double, lots of pillows, and furnishings inspired by Africa with rich teracottas and African ornaments. On the first floor of the accommodation, the purple double bedroom is equally as cosy and has another comfortable John Lewis bed for a great night’s sleep. The blue twin bedroom, with double aspect windows, sleeps two adults comfortably; it’s also great for kids.

LOUNGE: The lounge has a clean modern look with comfortable seating for six adults. Nothing beats sinking into our black leather sofa after a brisk walk around West Wight – whether you’ve headed up to the Needles and Tennyson Down or to nearby Yarmouth – with a nice cuppa tea. The living room also has three leather chairs, inset gas fireplace, and thick rug on polished floorboards, as well as a flatscreen TV with freeview & freesat, video, DVD, stereo (cd/tape/radio) and a range of books and board games for fun evenings in. The cottage also features a Nintendo Wii with the popular Sports Resort game.

KITCHEN: Whether you’re just starting out or getting some last minute practice in for Masterchef, the kitchen has everything you need and has ample counter space to cook for a family or group of adults. The kitchen has been designed and fitted to a high standard by John Lewis and includes full hob/oven, toaster, fridge/freezer, microwave, Bosch dishwasher, and Miele washing machine. A tumble dryer is also provided. The dining area adjoins the kitchen and seats six.

GARDEN: At the rear of our holiday accommodation, in the direction of the West Wight coastline, is a pleasant enclosed garden with garden table and chairs. The double doors from the dining room can be opened up to provide a nice area for eating al-fresco.

PARKING: There is a parking space behind the garden for one car with on road parking for additional vehicles.

Whether you’re after a holiday rental for a short break such as a long weekend or several weeks, previous guests have found the cottage a relaxing base for exploring West Wight and beyond.
