Type: Guest House
BONCHURCH MANOR is a 9 bed early 19th century Victorian country house set in the quiet village of Bonchurch. Facing the South, towards the sea and backed by the cliffs of St. Boniface, the country house enjoys a sunny microclimate most of the year. The sprawling, sea facing garden backs on to the cliffs with its own cave and provides privacy and tranquillity. In close proximity to some of the island's coastal paths and beaches.
The house nestles between the former residences of Algernon Swinburne, Charles Dickens & Stacpoole and is a short walk from the 11th century church of St. Boniface.
We offer spacious en-suite accommodation with colour TV, private licensed bar (which stocks some of the islands finest beers and ales) with free range breakfast using island produce where possible. South Indian breakfasts can be pre-booked.
We are known to be friendly, knowledgeable and delightfully accommodating. We welcome people of all ages.
