Albert Cottage was once the home of Princess Beatrice, Queen Victoria’s younger daughter. The hotel is set in two acres of beautiful gardens backing onto Osborne House, Queen Victoria’s favourite holiday residence.
This small friendly boutique hotel has been elegantly restored to enhance the historical surroundings. The ten rooms are all en suite and there are three bedrooms available on the ground floor for easy access. All rooms have flat screen televisions installed. The superior room is very large with lounge area and luxury furnishings.
The Consort Restaurant is open throughout the year for residents and non residents and serves a variety of fine fresh local produce where the menu varies daily. The restaurant can seat up to 80 for corporate, association or club dinners.
The Hotel is less than one mile from Red Funnel’s ferry terminal and on the bus route to Newport and Ryde. There is plenty of parking at the hotel.
The Indian Summer house is a self catering cottage in the grounds of the hotel and has one double room and one bunk room. Prices on application.
The Hotel has four rooms licensed for weddings and civil ceremonies. The restaurant is ideally sited for marquee extensions for wedding evening disco or band.
