Nick & Stella offer you a warm welcome to The Lawns Guest House, which has lovingly been upgraded and currently rated with AA 4 Stars. We are a fully licensed run guest house, which is completely NON-SMOKING, in the popular resort of Sandown, Isle of Wight. In 2008 we implemented many more comforts to make your stay even more comfortable. To mention but a few of these are more Superior Rooms, Digital Flat Screens, Digital Freeview, Wifi access. The Lawns was also awarded in 2008 the highest rating of 5 Stars for Food Hygiene and Safety by Isle of Wight Environmental Health and also features in the AA's Best of Bed & Breakfast Guides 2008 & 2009. The Lawns Guest House was built in 1865. We have ample parking and with only a stroll to the beach you can leave your car in the safe knowledge that our premises are protected with CCTV. We are situated in a pleasant area of Sandown, with all the amenities in walking distance including the Railway Station and bus stops to enable you to explore the rest of the Island during your stay. For those that enjoy nothing more than a good book and a tube of sun cream to while away those hours, our award winning blue flag beach is just a 10-minute stroll away! For those who like to be "Up and About" the Island has so much to offer for everyone. Water Sports such as wind surfing and sailing are available at Yaverland. Other local attractions include Adgestone Vineyard, Isle of Wight Waxworks in Brading and Lilliput Doll Museum, and many many more. The Sandown Bay tour is operated by the Orange Open Top Buses and will take you along the main attractions of the Seafront of Sandown and Shanklin. From East Cowes ferry, second exit at roundabout onto Well Road, A3021, A3054 to Newport, A3020 to Sandown, A3056 to Lake, A3055 to Sandown. From Fishbourne ferry, B3339 (Fishbourne lane), A3054 to Ryde (Esplanade), straight along the Esplanade to the boating lake, follow the road round to the right onto A3055 to Sandown. From Yarmouth ferry, A3054 to Newport, A3020 to Sandown, A3056 to Lake, A3055 to Sandown.

From Ryde: please either visit the train station annexed to the Catamaran or travel on the No. 2 or 3 bus route.
