The Sentry Mead

The Sentry Mead is a beautiful Victorian Country House set in its own spacious gardens in the tranquil surroundings of West Wight.

Just two minutes from the beach and with scenic downland walks on the doorstep this is the perfect place to relax and unwind... Attentive staff, excellent food and an informal atmosphere all combine for a restful stay. Well behaved dogs are most welcome.

Sentry Mead is proud to offer 11 well-appointed en suite bedrooms including two premier rooms, one with a half tester bed. All rooms have flat screen, digital televisions, complimentary WiFi, tea/coffee making facilities, toiletries and hairdryer. Sentry Mead also offers internet access from a computer on the ground floor. Nine bedrooms have bath with shower over and two have step-in showers. Single rooms are available with no supplement.

The Sentry Mead is licenced and guests have access to our comfortable lounge, sun lounge and garden terraces for the occasional drink, pot of tea or coffee, afternoon tea or a light sandwich. Our restaurant is open each evening to guests of the hotel and every Friday and Saturday to non-residents. Traditional roast lunches are served each Sunday.
